In the first quarter of 2025, several top news and magazine applications on the Android platform in Switzerland demonstrated varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights offer a glimpse into user engagement and app popularity.

X (Formerly Twitter) saw fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $4.2K and peaking at $6.3K towards the end of March. Downloads exhibited a downward trend from early January's 3.6K to around 1.2K by the end of the quarter. Active users, however, remained relatively stable, starting at 148K and ending at 139K.

SRF News - Nachrichten experienced a notable increase in downloads mid-quarter, reaching a high of 2.3K in the week of March 10. Despite this, active users declined slightly from 228K to 166K over the quarter.
